What we cover
Ordertide reviews the products people use to buy, hold, trade and account for crypto: exchanges for first purchases and for active trading, hardware wallets, self-custody apps, on-chain trading venues, tax software and research tools. Each review ends in a score out of ten, a plain verdict and a list of who the product suits.
How the work is done
Reviews are written by The Ordertide Test Desk. Before we score an exchange we open an account, pass verification, fund it, place orders and withdraw back to our own wallet, and we record every fee along the way. Wallets are set up from the box, backed up, restored and used to send and receive. Tools are used on real portfolios for the length of a normal working week.

Money and independence
We pay for the products and the fees ourselves. No company can buy a review, a score or a place in the ranking, and no company sees a review before it is published. If we ever add paid links, they will be labelled next to the link itself.
What we are not
We are not financial advisers and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Crypto prices move fast and you can lose the money you put in. Our reviews describe how a product worked for us on the dates we tested it.
